The project is located in a highway tunnel in Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. The tunnel is currently under construction. To ensure the safety of construction workers in the tunnel, mobile phone signals must be kept open. For this reason, signaling services within the tunnel must be activated first. Our company is a professional signal coverage engineering company, and it is our mission to solve signal blind spots. The tunnel construction team contacted our professional signal coverage team to provide suggestions for solving the signal coverage in the tunnel.
I learned that the length of the tunnel currently being excavated is about 400 meters in both directions and requires mobile phone signal coverage. For this reason, our company designed a one-to-one optical fiber repeater for signal coverage. In the early stage, the signal source was surveyed at the tunnel entrance. The frequency bands were GSM900 and DCS1800 band signals, and a set of 5W analog dual-band GD optical fiber repeater was used.
